We definitely have had a mild winter thus far in Seattle.  But I heard that we are finally getting some snow possibly this weekend.  In a flurry, I thought about one of my favourite boots, the Mountaineer by J-41

  

These lovely boots are not only trail rated, with a sole that is made of recycled rubber, but also super comfy for those long hilly Seattle walks.  A faux fur cuff and lining throughout the boot add warmth, while absorbing moisture.  Attractive strap and buckle detail along the vamp and calf add extra appeal to the quilted fabric upper.  Striking thick blue laces and stitching add interest in this boot.  Paired up with leggings for a sleeker look or jeans, this  marvelous boot demands that the elements bring it on!
