Is it all truly vegan?
Yes; we are vegan-owned and operated, so all of our products contain no animal products. We triple-check everything for your peace of mind.
What materials are used in the shoes, belts, wallets, etc.?
The materials used vary; some items are made out of polyurethane micro fiber, while others are made of organic cotton, hemp, recycled plastics and/or rubber, etc.
What is your return policy?
For purchases in the store, credit note, exchange, or refund are available within fourteen days of purchase with receipt (and for shoes, the original box) and in original condition. We do not accept returns on food items or on shoes worn out of the store.
For purchases made through our website, we do not accept returns on food items. We accept returns on non-food items for up to thirty days from the day you receive your package. In order for a return to be accepted, items must be returned in the same condition in which you received them. Shoes must not be worn, and must be tried on indoors, with socks. If a returned item appears to have been used, the customer will be contacted and no refund or exchange will be given and no store credit issued. We will grant a full refund, store credit, or exchange on any unused item other than food. All footwear should be sent back in their original containers and please make sure that the packaging (in most cases, the shoebox) is placed inside of another box (one that you provide or the original box it was shipped in) and in such a way so it will not sustain any damage on its return trip to us. Please include a note as to whether you would like a refund, store credit, or an exchange on any unused item, as well as your name, phone number and/or e-mail and order number in case we have any questions for you. All items must be sent to the physical store: 7410 Greenwood Avenue North, Seattle WA 98103. You can send the item back however you want as long as you are responsible for all return shipping costs. We suggest shipping it back to us using a method that can be tracked. We cannot take responsibility for items that do not make it back to our store.
Once we receive the item we will contact you by e-mail or phone, and give you a refund or exchange or store credit, assuming that the item clearly is in original condition (we inspect all of our items before shipping them to customers). We will only pay for shipping on original orders that are over $75. With any exchanges the customer will be responsible for shipping costs.
Please be aware that some shoe styles come in UK or European sizes. Please consider this before assuming the wrong size has been sent. If you have any questions about sizing, please contact the store prior to placing an order.
We also try to provide information about whether a shoe size runs larger or smaller.

Yes. We ship world-wide.

We will strive our best to ship all orders within two business days of the order being placed.
Is everything on the web page also available in the store?
Some of our suppliers want to sell their items on-line only. Therefore, we do have items in our Seattle store that are not available through the website. We love to meet our customers, so please visit us when you are in the Seattle area.
When I order from your online store, when is my credit card charged?
A temporary hold of the dollar amount of the order will be placed on your card as soon as you have completed your order, but your credit card will only actually be charged when your order is shipped.
What types of payments do you accept?
We accept Visa, American Express, MasterCard, Discover, and PayPal.
How do I know if my shoes that I order online from you will fit properly?
Ultimately, the only way to tell if a pair of shoes will feel comfortable on your feet is to actually try them on. However, we do our best to make sure you will get the size you need. Each shoe varies based on style and manufacturer; we try to make note of whether a shoe size runs large or small, and for shoes made abroad we list the U.S. sizes as well as the European and/or UK sizes as applicable. What are your shipping options?
We provide free shipping for purchases of $75.00 or more via UPS and also USPS. For perishable food items that you order during the warmer months we strongly encourage you to always purchase an icepack from us to ship with your order and to have the food be shipped in one or two days’ time, whether you use UPS or the USPS.
Where are your products made?
Some of the shoes are made in the U.S. and Canada, others in European countries, some in Sri Lanka, China, Pakistan, and India. Our chocolates are made in the U.S. and Canada. We have tried to list the country of origin of our products on the order form pages of our website.
Do I have to pay sales tax?
For purchases from our online store, if you live in the state of Washington, yes, you do. Otherwise, you do not.
Will I receive a confirmation of my order once I have placed my order through your website?
Yes, shortly after you place your order you will receive an e-mail confirmation. We will also send you an e-mail when your order is shipped.
Are your products fair-trade?
We do our best to make sure that the shoes, belts, wallets, etc. we sell are made under fair conditions, by getting both verbal and written confirmation (more than once) from each company with which we do business that their products are made by fairly-compensated and voluntary adult workers. We do not have the ability to personally fly to each and every factory and do surprise inspections, so we do have to trust our business partners and take them at their word, but we do what we can to ensure we do not participate in any kind of exploitation of human animals or non-human animals. Our chocolates are not all fair-trade-certified, but many of them are fair-trade according to the companies that make them, and many of our chocolates are organic.
Can I cancel an order once I have placed it?
Time is of the essence; if you contact us immediately (we recommend that you call the brick-and-mortar store at 206-659-0062) we may be able to cancel your order. However, once your order ships to you we cannot cancel your order at that point.
